Announcing Makenzie... a few months late! :)

Makenzie Leigh Walters was born April 6,2011! She is now 5 almost 6 months old! She is about 16lbs. She is a blessing. She is getting so much fun and her personality is really starting to shine!! She is starting to roll over. She can get from her belly to back and back to belly most times. I haven't got to see her roll from back to belly. Missed it but her daddy saw it! :) Logan and Kaylin just LOVE her. She's a perfect piece to our family puzzle.

Update

I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd get on and catch who ever follows this up! Sweet Makenzie is here.. and she's actually 5 months today!! :) She's very happy and healthy. She talks a lot and is teething.. trying to get her front two teeth. As for the rest of the family Lance is good. Working a lot these days. He's working two jobs and working 7 days a week. He's only got 2 more weeks of that. He and I are going to celebrate our 7 year anniversary on Sunday. Very excited about it. He is such a blessing and I love him so much. He is my best friend and I'm so very thankful God has blessed our marriage. Logan is 5 and has started kindergarten last week. And he loves it. He got a virus from there already and is not feeling well this week. Hoping he will be able to go back to school tomorrow. Kaylin is 2 1/2. She is working on potty training. She is very independent and loves her brother and sister. She loves to draw and get her fingers and toes painted!! :) All in all we are one big happy family! God has blessed us so much and I'm so thankful that.

Our Family Pictures!

Yes, I might be crazy but I wanted some pictures of us before I have Makenzie! Never had any pregnancy ones and thought it would be neat to have some since this is the last baby! :) Rhoda took these and did a great job. My dad helped with them. We loved how they turned out.. didn't think we would get many since Kaylin didn't want to sit still! :)

Happy Birthday Logan!!

Happy Birthday To My Little Man Logan... he's 5! I can't believe he's 5 already... just seems like the other day I was anxiously awaiting on his arrival! He was our first born and that's something you can never take away! He was born on Friday March 24, 2006 at 11:02PM. He was 7lbs 10oz and 20inches long! Funny story because since he was our first born they said that you only progress about a 1 cm an hour. And I was determined to have him before my nurse DeeDee left. I figured since she helped me through everything she deserved to see Logan! I told her when I got there that I was going to have him before she left to go home. And she told me NOT to get my hopes up. By 10 I started pushing and she said that you could be pushing for a while. And he was born at 11:02! She was suppose to be off at 11 but since he was almost here stayed. So she did get to meet him. And the same nurse happened to be there when Kaylin was born so "delivered" and weighed her too! This past year Logan has grown so fast. He continues to get tall. Lance and I are both convinced he will pass us up soon!( me easily!) He also came to know Jesus this past August which was really cool. He will tell you he has Jesus in his heart. And that's so awesome to hear. He loves going to church and learning more about Jesus.. but also going to see his buddies Talan, Michael and Jeffery. Those are just a few! He's very active and loves being outside. He's going to be starting t-ball in a week and is SUPER excited. Another BIG thing he is doing is going to be starting school! OH! what a hard day that will be for me! But he is super excited! I thank the Lord for Logan everyday. He is a challenge some days and I believe God has given me him to stretch and grow me! I love you Logan so much and I'm so thankful for you.. daddy is too! We are so glad to be your parents and can't wait to see you continue to grow up into a godly man!

Kaylin's 2 Year Check-up

Today we took Kaylin to the doctor for her 2 year check-up! She was 27.7 lbs and 34 1/2 inches. So she was about 50% for weight and 75% for height. She's tall according to the doctor... if you take the height and double it she will be 5'8"!! That's tall. She got one shot today.. Hep A and won't need anymore til kindergarten! I'm thankful for a healthy 2 year old! The doctor said she was just perfect!! :)

Update on #3.. her name is going to be Makenzie. Not sure what a middle name will be yet but Lance and I picked Makenzie! :) Exciting. I went to the doctor on Monday and she's still breech. We did a stress test because she scared me on Monday. I didn't feel any movement that morning so they wanted to check her and her heartrate. It was low at first but they put a noise maker on my stomach and made her jump and her heart rate went back up to where it's suppose to be. She's doing good. She has 2 weeks til I go back and they want to know she is head down. If not, they are going to schedule a ultrasound to figure out the exact position and try and flip her. I will be 37 weeks at that point. Come on Makenzie!! TURN for mommy!

She LOVES her big brother, Logan. It's so cute how much she looks up to him. I know she will be a great big sister. We played outside today and enjoyed some of the spring weather. HOPING for it to come soon and stay. We took her to Red Robin for dinner and made cupcakes to have when we came home. She had her aunt Whitney and her grammy come visit. My thoughts....

Today there's LOTS on my mind but overall it's been a good day! We had an ultrasound today just to check fluids and the baby's position! She is breech. Her head is to my left side and butt on the right with feet straight down!! She was 4lbs 5oz. Her heart rate was 147. Overall the doctor was happy!! :) I'm almost 33wks. Will be on Friday!
Through my excitement and I know the baby is ok, my heart also aches for my aunt. She was 27wks pregnant last week. We have pictures of us together because we were due about the same time. She was going to be induced because she was having twins. She lost twin boys on Tuesday of last week. I can't imagine loosing someone you have gotten so attached to over the time. Yes, I haven't met our little girl yet but I know her and I feel like I have because she moves and kicks me all the time. I've gotten attached to her. I know my cousins are in heaven watching over their mommy and will meet her someday. They are in the comfort of Jesus' arms! I love you Luann and even though I haven't got to talk to you.. I pray for you LOTS and think of you LOTS!! I know Brock and Grant are in God's hands and they will watch over you, Greg and Fiona!

Catching up on my slacking... :)

While sitting here at the dr. office, doing a 3 hour glucose screening(the things we do for our kids-4 blood draws!) I thought I'd write about our Christmas and New Years! The week of Christmas Braucht , Lisa and kids came in from TN. We loved having them and getting to spend LOTS of time with them. Logan and Gracie played pretty well and Westin and Kaylin too! We did the Walters' tradition of making homemade raviolis and then we had them for dinner another night. We also played Taboo one night which was LOTS of fun... and we will take lots of memories from that night. (pictures to come later!)
For Christmas Eve, Lance and I let the kids open one gift-- pajamas. So, we let them wear them to bed that night. Logan put cookies out for Santa and he thought he would like chocolate milk since he gets regular white milk everywhere else! After getting kids in bed, I finished wrapping some things for the rest of the family.
Christmas day was really special. We woke up about 9ish and allowed the kids to go downstairs to see what "Santa" brought. Logan got a Leapster 2, a game for it, some new Cars he didn't have, puzzle, shoes. Kaylin got some new shoes, a new outfit and blanket. After opening the gifts, our favorite neighbors Bob and Ray came over. Bob now lives in an apartment but he wanted to play Santa for the kids and boy did he spoil them. We really miss him.Ray surprised us by bringing homemade goodies his wife had made. We then got ready and headed to the Walters for lunch and presents. Logan got Optimus Prime transformer, some pjs, puzzles, clothes and Connect Four. Kaylin got a new lego table, some legos, clothes, new church shoes, and some other fun things! After having a good meal, naps for kids and watching some football, we headed to my dad's and Rhoda's. Grandma Hinds was in for the week so we got to have Christmas with her too! It was special. Whitney and Matt were there and Randi. The kids got to open presents. Logan got a video game and carrying case for his Leapster and Kaylin got her first Vera Bradley purse and some really cute outfits and new pink church coat. Over all we had a busy but wonderful Christmas with family!!
New Years we went to spend in PA with family. Lance's great grandmother turned 90!!! We went over Thursday night and stayed with Vi's family on the farm. We spend most of New Years Eve there and then went over to the Walters' house for dinner and games. We played Bonko all night until just before the ball dropped. The kids were up and it was a LONG night for them. It was just too loud to lay Kaylin down and she had fun visiting!
New Years day we went back to the Walters' family and had a BIG dinner. We enjoyed spending time with LOTS of family and friends. I love getting together with family. It's always so memorable and so much fun to just relax and have a great time.
Update on baby. I'm now 26 weeks today. And we found out we are having another girl on November 29th. She's growing healthy and getting big. She's due April 15th. Still trying to come up with a name! I'm praying that this test comes back normal and we should know today sometime I believe. I will post pictures later of Christmas and New Years. I can't wait to see what 2011 is going to bring Lance and I. I know we will have an addition to the family. At least we know that much but I can't wait to see what God also has in store for us. I'm praying and trying to trust in God for everything in lives. He always provides for our needs even though it might not always be in our timing! Logan is going to be starting kindergarten this fall.. and he wants to play t-ball in the spring! He's getting so big and fast. I thank the Lord every day for our kids that they are healthy!
