10 on the 11th! :)

Ok, so today is December 11th.. and although I was suppose to post this yesterday.. here it is. I took the idea from Kathy that she found on another blog! It's 10 on 10! That's why it should have been posted yesterday.. oh well! :) It was a busy day for us.. and Kaylin and I are feeling a bit under the weather! Here it goes... enjoy!

Here's my precious Kaylin at nap time... snoring away because she has a sinus infection! She's goes for nap time so nice I wish it was that way at bed time..... ahhh some day! But in the mean time I'll snuggle with her! :)
Here's Logan bear... it's his favorite thing to sleep with and when Kaylin goes down he puts his Logan bear down for a nap!! :)
During nap time it gives me time with just LOGAN! And he loves that time.. so since it has been not so cold the last couple days... calm before the "storm", we have gone out some to enjoy it while we can.
This is him on his race car big wheel... he LOVES. He loves to go over to the neighbors and have time trials from his drive way to ours! Here's the princess getting up from her nap time!! :) She of course had to grab her blankie, bear and binky!!After nap time drink for both kids.... just got these... so it's a special treat! This is one of her favorite things to play with! She loves sitting with her blanket and doing the magnets while I'm cooking or cleaning up the kitchen!

This has been my life the last 2 weeks. Every time changing a diaper I mark it down... not much to complain about since I got into the diaper study and I got free diapers(Huggies) and I'm getting paid for it! God is good and blessed us with this for me to do for some extra money!! :)
Here's a picture of the angel Logan finally found from Sunday School to put on our tree!! :)
And I know this picture wasn't from the 10th.. but my other pictures I took yesterday didn't turn out so I posted the 10th photo of a cute one of the kids posing.... Kaylin in Logan's cars hat and his shoes which she loves getting into everyday so it kinda works! And it happens to be November 1oth! :)And for some reason this post took me SOOO long to post. The pictures kept going back to the top.. anyone have insight for me to fix it for next time that would be awesome! I hope to do better with this next time and become more creative!

Our Trip To PA and FL over the summer.....

I'm just sitting outside with my kids LOVING the fall weather.... it's November and it's mid-60's here. That's really unusual for OHIO weather.... it's normally pretty chilly out. Even last week the highs were in the 30's-40's lows in the 20's! We even saw snowflakes! Anyways- thought I'd update with some pictures of the kids this past summer and fall since I haven't really wrote anything since then.
Logan, Kaylin and I went and spent a week in PA over the summer. Lance was going to have to go to Buffalo for work so I figured I'd go spend some time with his grandparents in PA since it wasn't that far away. It was really nice just getting away and going to see all the family. I'm starting to realize how big Lance's family really is. We first went to the farm and spent time there. That was fun. We got to see all Logan's second cousins which Logan loves playing with. Then the last 1/2 the week we went to his other grandparents (Walters) and we went to DelGrosso park, and went and fed the ducks and fish in Bellefonte. It was really nice! Lance came back over that Friday and that's when we went to the park the kids are at. Lance and his brothers when they were little went there. We then went to State College Sunday night to enjoy the fireworks. We camped out all day with the family at the RV and enjoyed food and fun together. The kids really liked the fireworks.... :)

Here are some beach pictures: We took a week vacation to Destin, FL with the Walters family. We drove to Chattanooga TN to meet up with Lance's older brother Braucht and his wife Lisa, and the 2 kids Gracie and Westin, also Bryan and Nicole and drove from there to FL. It was a LONG drive but WELL worth it. It was absolutely beautiful there!! White sand beaches and CLEAR blue water! Here's the view from outside a resturant we went and ate at called the Back Porch. The WHOLE back of the place was out and you could just walk out onto the beach! Everyone was worried about the oil spill and such but there was nothing.. it was gorgeous!!! Here's an updated picture of Lance and I too! We never get a picture together.... :)

We also went to eat at The Shed while we were there.. it had the best BBQ and sweet tea ever! We also got to visit with some friends of Lance's.. and mine now... from TN who were actually there on vacation too! It was really neat because we were going to try and see them when we were passing through TN but they ended up being like 10m from us in Florida on vacation too! More to come in next post.... :)

I haven't blogged in a while and thought I would sit and write an update of what's going on in "our neck of the woods" :) Lance and I have been married just 6 years this past Sept. 2010! We are very happy! He's still working with his dad and loves it. He's been promoted to production kitchen manager. He's not driving anymore but maintaining what comes in and out of the kitchen. We thought it would be less time in the office but he's still working 12-14hours a day... most of the time! I'm still staying home with the kids. We just found out well a couple months ago we are expecting a 3rd baby! Pretty excited... a little shocked at first but happy to have a third and final child! :) We are due April 15, 2011. So I'm about 17wks now! We won't find out what we are having until the big ultrasound on Nov. 29th. And that's if I want to find out... still not really sure. I'd rather be surprised but Lance really wants to know. I think he's got his hopes up for a boy again... so we will see. Logan is 4 1/2 now. He's getting big. He's about 48lbs and 3 1/2 feet tall. He's into puzzles and writing his name and letters now. He will start school next fall... he can't wait! Also he wants to play t-ball in the spring so we will be signing him up as soon as it gets warm out. Kaylin is 20 months. She's into everything. She's wanting to do everything Logan does. She's climbing up the stairs now. She is a very happy active girl! Girls are definitely different from boys so I'm learning as I go again! :) God has truely blessed us with a wonderful little family. I can't wait to add to it in April. We will be done then! :) I'll update again later. But this is what's going on with us! :)

A New Kitchen and 2 Vacations Later.....

It's been a while since I posted and LOTS has happened. Benjamin graduated high school end of May and the beginning of June was his party. Lance's uncle Craig and his Pap came in for the party. They ended up working on my kitchen and getting the cabinets all installed. Lance had the kitchen primed and ready to paint that Friday but they came Friday and worked from 2 in the afternoon until 430am the next morning to get them all in. It made for a LONG night with the kids but it was SOOO worth it to have done! It looks AWESOME!! :) The floor got put in the next day and it looks great too. So thankful!!

Next would be my trip to PA-- I went for almost 2wks. Lance had to go to Buffalo for work so I decided I would go spend some time over there with his grandparents. We had a surprise 50th birthday party for Vi... she had no clue. She thought we were going to Charlotte yet we were actually relaxing at the pool the WHOLE week :) It was great to see al l the family. Bryan and Nicole came up from Virginia too. The party was Saturday and Lance left on Sunday--I stayed there at the Rogers' house until Wednesday morning. Logan had fun on the farm with running to the barn and spending time with his cousins. I had fun hanging out with all the Rogers'! :) Next we went up to the Walters' house. It was great too. We went to feed fish in Bellefonte and the ducks. Pap let Logan help mow on the tractor and he took him fishing too. He caught 5 trout. He loved it... and was very proud. Lance came back over that Friday and we went to State College on Sunday for the fireworks. It was a day of camping out in the parking lot and then watching the fireworks with his family.... LOTS of fun! I'll post more pictures later and the next vacation too later....

A Peak of Light is at the End of the LONG Tunnel..... :)

Lance has been working .... SOOOOO hard on our house. We have both been getting sooo anxious to have this project complete. I know he's tired of coming home to a house that's under construction and the feeling that he has to work on something after working all day. I know for me.. I feel like there's not much I can do to help.. and I don't want to be rushing him to get things done.. but I really want life back to somewhat normal.. and I can have a clean house once again. Is that too much to ask? He has got the painting done in the front room. It just needs one more coat. And he's going to paint up the hall and down too with the same color.. the same color will be in the kitchen. Just seemed easier that way to do it.. plus the cabinets and everything will cover up the space so you won't see much of the paint anyways. Lance's dad came over this past weekend to help Lance with the electrical in the kitchen and Sunday they got one wall of the new drywall put up.. they are going to finish the other part on Wednesday. This weekend.. we are hoping that our friend will be able to help with the door. We have to replace the back door because of rotting that got covered up by the previous owner. At this pt. I could care less about the cabinets.. although I'm excited to see the finished project but I really just want my floor the most.. :) Laminate flooring... yay!

....Under Construction....

Well for those of you wondering how the construction is going... it's going.... just not as fast as Lance and I hoped for. The front room/dining room is almost ready for flooring. Lance painted the ceiling last night.. it need one more coat. The sanding of the spackle on the new dry wall is done.. looks like it might need another coat too.. then just priming and painting.. and that room will be ready for floor.
Our kitchen is needed a new door.. and we are going to take the old door out and put a new one in with a window... there was a hole in the floor that was just covered up by previous buyers.. so we have to fix that.. because water was getting in and rotting away our door and the flooring. The kitchen also needs two new walls.. and all painted then we can get flooring done in there.. then it will be just a matter of getting the cabinets put up. Still a long way from being done. I know God is teaching me patience. And I'm trying to pray for opportunities to be patient but it's soo hard sometimes. I'm having a hard time living in this "construction" zone! It's making me crazy!

Eventful Week....

Since it's been about a month since I've posted.. I thought I might write about ALLLL that happened last week. Today it's been a week since we gave Rocky away... it's kinda sad but I'm thinking now after a week it's starting to be ok. I really miss him still but I think he is able to help another man out. See, Whitney gave me a phone number to a man who name is George. He lost his wife and had to put their dog down and other things all within a month. Kinda sad if you ask me.. so I contacted him since we have been going back and forth with giving Rocky away and he was very excited to hear from me. I guess he was expecting my call. George came out that afternoon and met Rocky and said he would really enjoy having him. So, we gave Rocky to him. It all transpired really quickly so I wasn't expecting to give him away that day. I probably would have tried to spend more time with him.... that's the main reason we had to give him away. He's a boxer and needs lots of attention and with the kids that's hard to do. Plus, he's 5 and not very good with being patient with the kids anymore.. so we didn't think he would hurt the kids but didn't want to take that chance either! I'm praying still that he's still a blessing to this man, George and so far he has been. I've spoke with George several times and he said we could keep in touch and could come visit him anytime.

So that was Monday of last week.... then came Tuesday.. Lance got home from work and was ready to work on this kitchen... the never ending water damaged kitchen project! (although I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel...) My dad came over to visit the kids and about that time I was cooking dinner. Lance decided to move the pantry and take the remaining soffit( spelling? ) down.. well it came down on him! We ended up heading over to urgent care because he had about an 5-6 in long gash in his head and ended up with 3 big stitches! That was just an interesting week along with some other things that happened too. I joined the Phone Potty Club.. Logan tried to call daddy in the bathroom and some how my phone ended up floating in the potty... I wasn't up yet and he hadn't informed me that he was up.. just came in to sneak my phone away to call daddy... not mad but I did loose everything on my phone. Thanks to my Uncle Tim he said put it in rice to get some of the water out.. and that's where it's been since Saturday.... and it still doesn't work! Praying I can get some of the info back because it had pictures and videos of my kids on it.......

I'll leave you with a picture of Rocky.. boy do we miss him but I have a peace that he's where he needs to be.. and we will be able to visit too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!

Happy Birthday to Logan Michael Walters... my little man! He's grown so much. I was looking at pictures to put on here and I can't believe how big he is and how fast it went! He's 4 today.. or he says this many.. and then hold 4 fingers up! :) He was born on Friday March 24,2006 at 11:02 PM and he was 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long. I was induced with him because my blood pressure was high but he was trying to come early several times before them and had to keep him in! :)

He was only a week before his due date! He was due on April 1st. He's now soo big. He's such a proud big brother and a big help to me with Kaylin. He's about 3 1/2 feet tall now and about 42lbs. He loves to play with his cars and he's really into watching new movies. He loves to play baseball and basketball outside which I know he will be playing those when he gets bigger. Hopefully he will go out for t-ball next year and he will be starting SCHOOL too.. that's just crazy to me. Although, he is really excited to ride the school bus. He loves to play outside in the garage with his daddy and "work". He also loves helping me in the kitchen from cooking to cleaning up too.. and scrub scrub scrubbing out the sink... he says!

I thank the Lord for Logan everyday. I'm so thankful to have him in my life. I love him sooo much. He has a great personality. And I can't wait to see the young man God will mold him in to!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET PRINCESS KAYLIN!!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet girl Kaylin Michelle. She's ONE today(actually yesterday), March 2nd, 2010. One year ago she was born at 7:11PM and she was 7lbs. 7oz. and 20 inches long! :)
She is so beautiful inside and out. We are starting to learn her personality more and more each day. She loves to laugh and smile so BIG! She loves to tell you how big she is-- when you ask her she puts her hands up. She loves to dance in her jumperoo and loves spending time with her big brother! She is walking now.. pretty well by herself. Here are some pictures of our BIG girl.. more to come this weekend when we have a little get-together for her to celebrate!

Bath Time....

This is one of the first times I've put Logan and Kaylin in the tub together! Something Logan really enjoys... they crack each other up! Kaylin will get to splashing and squealing and Logan starts laughing and Kaylin laughs at him! Too cute! But a very loud bath time.. :)

Laundry Day...

This is my sweet girl Kaylin "helping" with laundry! She always manages to get in the middle of the basket and throw all the clothes into the floor! :) Logan loves to help fold the pants(his and Kaylin's) and washclothes! He's learning to do the towels... he wants to help on his own and he does a great job at it(as you can see him showing off his pile!)

A Girl's Night

Well, it was a night of girl things! I guess she's too young for chick flicks and painting the nails and stuff... but we still had fun! We watched a little Fresh Beat Band and played with some toys while she showed off walking! It's a girls night because Lance and Logan went to a hockey game with Sam and Sarah! Can I just say that Logan was sooooo excited. This was part of his birthday present from mommy and daddy yet mommy didn't go. He was happy to be with daddy. I should have gotten a picture of him before he left. He was in a hockey shirt, jeans and his snow boots. They had to walk from the parking lot to the arena and since we got like 14 in. of snow in the less than a week we thought it was best for him to wear so he didn't get his feet wet.

Let It Snow Let It Snow

Here is a little video I did for my momma in NC who I don't think has seen this much snow in a LONG time!!! And I know Mom you would love to be right in the middle of this ... instead of the sunshine in NC! :)

This is our crazy weather... obviously Mother Nature didn't believe that 10-11 inches of snow on Saturday was enough... here's another 6-8 inches we are getting!! It's sooo pretty but we are def. snowed in. I'll get some more pictures of the kids out in the snow later! We are going to build a snowman with Logan! :) He's been begging us!

My 2 Blessings

Here are some recent pictures of the kids! Logan just loves his sister and I can tell Kaylin is fond of Logan too! Logan is a GREAT big brother! He is a huge help to me when I need things for her and is pretty patient with her! I can't believe both the kids are getting soo big. Logan will be 4 on March 24th and Kaylin will turn 1 on March 2nd! God has truly blessed our little family!

My Beginning...

Well, I decided I would start blogging again.. now that I got my internet back! A peek in to what's going on with the Walters' now!

Lance and I have been married 5 yrs this past Sept! I love him so much and I love how he's so willing to do anything for our family. He's working 2 jobs right now and keeping so busy! His hard work allows for me to stay home with the kids!

I'm loving being a stay-at-home mom! Somedays are harder than others but there's no way I would trade it for anything! I love watching the kids grow and do different things. I've started to scrapbook again which I REALLY enjoy! But don't have much time to do it!

Logan is going to be 4 in March! WOW! He's getting to be such a big boy! He loves spending time with us! He is really in to the Disney movie CARS! Anything Lightning McQueen and he's happy! He also likes his trains. Building tracks and tearing them apart can keep him pretty busy! He's learning to write his name! He's very smart. He loves to color, draw people and all his shapes! He likes to play games on the computer every once in a while and watch cartoons!

Kaylin is our newest addition! She's just turned 11m! She's a very busy girl. Always trying to keep up with her brother. She's crawling everywhere and into everything! She's also learned around Thanksgiving to pull herself up and now she's walking along the couch. It won't be long until she will be walking! She says DADA all the time and just started to say MAMA this last week. She's no longer eating baby food but wanting to eat everything else we are!(who blames her!)

I'm kinda excited about starting this again.. gives me a little out to write things down!
